Hit the road on the IoW

THE Isle of Wight #Cycling Festival (September 5-27) gives cyclists the opportunity to get #offthebeatentrack and experience the island’s unspoilt countryside. The festival includes rides with options for riders of all levels.

With its miles of dramatic and breath-taking coastline, picturesque countryside, and more than 200 miles of well-maintained and signposted cycle tracks, by-ways, bridleways, and trails.

Sponsored by Red Funnel, Wightlink, and Visit #IsleofWight, the event includes more than 80 rides, with a range of family events. Additions to the programme this year include a yoga for cyclists ride, mountain bike coaching courses at the Isle of Wight Mountain Bike Centre, the Around the Wight Triathlon, and the MTB Slammer – a mountain bike event taking in some of the island’s best trails.
