This pub’s a winner!

AN 18th century country inn nestling in the hills of the Dorset and Somerset borders has won two prizes at the South West Tourism Excellence Awards.

The Queens Arms at Corton Denham won the silver award for best tourism pub and another silver for B&B and guest accommodation.

Owners Gordon and Jeanette Reid took over The Queens Arms five years ago.

Mrs Reid said: ‘We are proud to have received these prestigious silver awards and hope that anyone who hasn't visited us yet will come and find us and experience the Queens for themselves. We are just north of Sherborne and only about 15 minutes from the A303 or the A30.’

In recent years, The Queens Arms -
