PRE-BANK HOLIDAY internet searches for European destinations flagged up Corfu,
Cannes, and Nice as the most popular destinations, followed by Lisbon and
Rhodes, according to figures published by Hotels.com.
Greece appears
be a popular choice, with both Kefalonia and Kos also reaching the top 10.
The
Lake District led the list of top 10 UK destinations, followed by Brighton and
Penzance.
