Rewards for travel choices

A PERSONALIZED travel planning app pilot will be tested in Newbury, Berkshire, this summer. The aim is to motivate people to develop their own travel plans and to make more sustainable travel choices. 

Supporting this trial is the Reward Your World platform which includes a geographically localized and customized portal, iPhone and Android app.

Residents can go to www.rewardyourworld.com  to register. Once registered, they will be encouraged to choose reward-earning activities, such as taking the bus, car sharing, walking, or cycling. Rewards can be used shops, clubs and cafés.
